Number 60D MGM TANK GAUGE is for measuring the liquid level in stationary tanks containing liquid under pressure. Listed under Reexamination Service of Underwriters' Laboratories, Inc. Although this gauge is not recommended for ships and barges, it does carry U.S. Coast Guard approval, and is acceptable for use on vessels classed with the American Bureau of Shipping, provided the installation is carried out to the satisfaction of the Bureaus' surveyors. No.175 MGM Tank Gauge is recommended for ships, barges and tank cars.
Nos. 60D and 60D/SS MGM Tank Gauges are suitable for a wide variety of pressure liquids. Liquids which are not corrosive to carbon steel can be handled with No. 60D MGM Tank Gauge. Corrosive liquids may require No. 60D/SS MGM Tank Gauge which has all contact parts made of stainless steel.
