MGM model number 275 Tank Gauge is a closed system magnetic gauging device incorporating a calibrated gauge rod and a float. The gauge rod, located inside a sealed well, has a magnet at its base. Outside the sealed well and in contact with the commodity is a float with a magnet assembly which rises as the tank is filled or lowers as the tank is emptied. The magnet linkage between the float and the gauge rod gives a continuous reading of the liquid level inside the tank.
